She gave a happy dance to see her special friends. They were coming to visit. Okay what will we eat? She looked about and realised there was not much to offer by the way of eating. Shopping then. She grabbed her shopping bags, (she no longer forgot those) and headed off. In the shops were any number of distractions. Fruit, nuts, delicious bits, and other diversions. She needed dinner, healthy and covering all the dietary, medical recommendations, not this, lots of that, but not that kind… it had to be easy to cook, time wise, she was using precious moments dithering about with her choices. She chose salmon to pan fry–healthy but was it sustainable (sigh), she chose asparagus because, delicious, and in season. She chose….as she turned to make another choice, she spied the flowers. What is an event without flowers? There was a time she lived in a house where there were always flowers. Not for a long time had she spoiled herself with them. That choice was easy then.
